British Council recently shared information updating that the organization’s team is part of British Council Qatar, co-organizer of the UK Festival, which is set to take place from 23 to 29 November at the Katara Cultural Village and MIA park.
As per the information shared by the official Facebook page of the British Council, this event is the 7th edition of the festival, which celebrates the warmth of the relationship shared between the United Kingdom and Qatar.
The event aims to highlight the culture followed across the United Kingdom and to create further opportunities for cultural exchange.
While sharing this information on the official Facebook page of the British Council, the organization added a caption wording, “This year is the 7th edition of the Festival that celebrates the UK-Qatar relationship, highlights UK culture, and creates new opportunities for cultural exchange.”
The organization urged to check out what they have in store this year; British Council will be running alongside the International Football Tournament; The organization will be presenting DJ shows, illustrations and a photography exhibition.
The UK Festival is funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and supported by a wide range of UK and Qatari partners.
