Billionaire Rupert Murdoch falls in love for 5th time at the age of 92

Date:

Billionaire Rupert Murdoch – a media tycoon, is all set to tie the know for the fifth time at the age of 92 with Ann Lesley Smith, he announced on Monday during an interview. Murdoch is an Australian-born American billionaire businessman, media tycoon, and investor.

The media tycoon has already been married four times in his life and is all set to marry his new love Ann Lesley Smith, a 66-year-old former police chaplain of San Francisco and widow of Chester Smith (American country singer and media executive). The couple is already engaged, as told by Rupert Murdoch.

During the interview on Monday, he outlined that he felt very nervous and dreaded falling in love but was sure this would be his last. He added that it better be his last, and he is happy.

Ann Lesley Smith is 26 years younger than Murdoch, and the couple has proved the quote, “Age is just a number for love”. The Billionaire divorced his fourth wife, Jerry Hall, just a year ago. Murdoch married Hall in 2016.

Rupert Murdoch and his fiance Smith met just six months ago at an event at his vineyard in California, following which the former said that he was nervous about getting down on one knee for the 5th time but knew that this would be his last. He highlighted that they both look forward to spending the rest of their lives together.

Furthermore, the businessman highlighted that he proposed to Smith on St Patrick’s Day, stating that he was ‘one-fourth Irish’ and had been ‘very nervous’ about getting married again.

It seems that the media tycoon does not want to spend his old age alone and wants to share it with someone who holds his hand till his last breath and has someone who loves him by his side.
