Ayrshire-based Non-profit Organisation River Garden Auchincruive extended their pleasure to their volunteers, Rosie and Anne-Marie, for completing the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on Sunday, September 17, 2023. They also raised for the river garden projects.
Reportedly, the River Garden Auchincruive is a United Kingdom-based charity Organisation that helps people recover from their alcohol and Drug addictions. The River Garden also gives opportunities for people to improve and transform their lives positively.
Previously, the River Garden Auchincruive volunteers Rosie and Anne-Marie completed the Edinburgh on Sunday. They also decided to fundraise for River Garden to show gratitude to the project for supporting Rosie’s son Ross, who has been volunteering with us for the past year. They have so far raised over £1200!
As per the reports shared, Ross came to River Garden to restart his life in Scotland after spending three and a half years at the Italian recovery community – Comunità San Patrignano, where he went to recover from a life of addiction.
San Patrignano was founded in 1978 and has, to date, welcomed more than 30,000 residents into their program and helped them recover from their addictions. They have an incredible 72% success rate, which makes them the most successful drug rehabilitation community in the world.
River Garden is taking many learnings from the three-year, work-based Italian community and other recovery models as they strive to build sustainable recovery for their residents and a fulfilled future.
Further, to read more about San Patrignano and see some of the top quality, artisan products that their residents produce, visit their website at:

Notably, the River Garden Auchincruive has been constantly putting efforts into developing the River Garden. Recently, they hosted a Volunteer meeting, providing people with an opportunity to meet and engage with their management team and introduce them to the River Garden Project.
