Since 2021, she has had six chemotherapy rounds and targeted biological therapy every three weeks. She has three monthly scans, and her Cancer is currently stable.
Further, the Cancer Support Organisation also shared Morag’s advice for others affected by Cancer. She said,“ As much as you can, try leading your normal life, but listen to your body and don’t push yourself too hard. You will have periods when it’s overwhelming – don’t deal with them on your own, speak to family, friends and access the services offered by charities.”
Morag has accessed support from Ayrshire Cancer Support. She extended her pleasure to the Organisation.
She said, “I’ve benefitted from most of the ACS services. Reiki with Caroline, the complementary therapist, counselling with Sarah, who helped me immensely with clearing my head, relaxation sessions where I would quite often drift off, and the Look Good Feel Better workshop with the fantastic goody bag.
I have also used the volunteer driver service. Now, I just drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.”’
The Ayrshire Cancer Support extended their pleasure and thanked Morang for sharing her remarkable story.
