Armenia logs more than 70 covid cases in 24 hours

As of Wednesday morning, 79 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of these cases has reached 422,155 in the country, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Also, eight more deaths from COVID-19 were registered, making the respective total 8,587 cases.

Four more cases of coronavirus patients dying from some other illnesses were recorded in Armenia in the past one day. The corresponding overall death toll in the country is 1,642 now.

The number of people who have recovered over the past one day is 108, the respective total number so far is 408,907, and the number of people currently being treated is 3,019—a drop by 41 from the previous day.

And 3,193 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Armenia over the past day, while 2,941,837 such tests have been performed to date.
